Life continues...

Yes, we are alive and fairly well. The last two weeks have been crazy. We got back from vacation, got Viivi ready to leave, and welcomed Kristin into the home. Girls have gotten sick, gotten better, and gotten sick (yet) again... Here is an update for you...
At the end of our vacation, we stopped at the best little ghost town in the west - Bannock, MT. We had been there two years ago with Marta, and it was great to head back again. The picture below is one of Ella two years ago, serving bar for me in the local saloon, and Ella now. I think these pics show off how much she has grown in the past two years...

We had a great time in Bannock - and will be back yet again in the future!

We have also said goodbye to Viivi. She has been such a fantastic part of our home for the past year, we are really going to miss her. I know we'll see her again soon, but it was still quite sad. Lucy wasn't sure what was going on, Gwenn sobbed non-stop (red eyes below) - and Ella said a quick goodbye (and then asked if we could go home since it was lunchtime...) It's amazing how their core personalities shine through regardless of the situation.

Last, we have welcomed our new au pair, Kristin from Sweden to the house. We have been very excited about meeting her for quite a while, and are so pleased to have her here! Kristin has big shoes to fill, but we are confident that she is going to be a fantastic addition to the family this coming year!
